Jr.-Sr. Banquet

     The Banquet is quickly approaching and there are some reminders that I need to make.

     1.  The Banquet Applications are due April   16.  We have to have them in because of   our reservations.  Get them in ASAP!            

     2.   If you want to go as a chaperone I also    must know by April 16.    

     3.   I want to thank everyone for your dona  tions, but we still need more.  If you want    to   give to support the banquet and you     haven’t had an opportunity to give,please    see me.

     I enjoy the Banquet and am very proud of our young people who choose to attend.  Encourage all of our young people who are juniors and seniors to attend.

Devotionals

     I want to thank Gayle and Wava Hall for hosting the previous youth devotional.  They always do a wonderful job.  This weeks devotional will be at David and Shannon Spicer’s home.  I will drive the van to this devotional.

Young Men

     We were blessed to have our young men to lead another Sunday Night service.  We had several young men read scripture and pray: Garett Travis, Brad Dougherty, Jared Hall, Taylor Hart, Derek Vaughn, and Casey Counce.  They did a good job.  We also had young men speak: Drew Cordle and Devin Hall.  Their lessons were well prepared and well delivered.  Devin and Drew have spoken several times and we have seen improvement and maturity each time.  Each time our young men hold the service we see improvement.  We are truly blessed to have young men who will lead in a worship service.  I look forward to the next time they lead our service.

     I know that many have traveled on spring break, and I look forward to everyone being back this Sunday.
