Evangelism University

     Evangelism University is a weekend devoted to teaching young people to live a lifestyle of evangelism.  This Sunday is the last date to sign-up for EU.  Again if you are a Christian, at least in the 8th grade, and show a level of maturity I want to encourage you to go.

     I look forward to this trip each year.  We have been blessed to be hosted by the same families each year, and hope to stay with them again.    If you have any questions please ask.

Caroling

     It is that time of year again. It is time to go caroling.  This is for anyone who is interested in helping.  We will meet at the activities building Monday at 5:45.  Then we will divide up into groups and go singing.  After we are finished we will go to the  home of Gayle and Wava Hall for a time of food and fellowship.  It is always a blessing when God’s people are able to spend time together. Please be making plans to attend.

Speaking Engagements

    I was privileged  this past weekend to preach for the Lord’s church at Hardin.  It was a blessing  to speak there and to build relationships with my brothers and sisters in Christ.  On Sunday evening I gave a presentation on “Good Things for Your  Young People to be Involved In.”  I talked about WorkCamp, Jr. Sr. Banquet, Summer Youth Series, Prayer Breakfast, West Kentucky Youth Camp and many others.  In order to increase awareness and involvement in these activities, I will be gone from time to time on Sunday evenings to some of our sister congregations in the county.  This coming Sunday evening I will be speaking at the Walnut Grove congregation.    

     Please keep my family in your prayers as many battle the illnesses that come with this time of year.  See you Sunday.
