Saturday Night Fellowship

I want to thank Dennis and Jo Beth Appleton for having the young people in their home Saturday evening.  I was very  encouraged by the  number   of  young  people  that  attended this  activity in lieu of the middle school dance.  “Thank you” to the young people who came, and their parents for bringing them and picking them up.  Each month we will try to have a weekend fellowship, so check the bulletin and the announcements for future dates.

Sunday Night Devotional

Sunday evening we will have a special devotional at the activities building.  We will be eating pizza, so all  you need to bring is you and a friend.  This is for all of our young people 6th-12th grade.  Please make plans to attend.  Parents, please look at the list for devotionals in the month of March and sign-up ASAP.

Horizons

Horizons is the yearly youth week hosted by Freed-Hardeman University.  The High School Week (for those going into the 9th grade-those leaving the 12th grade) is July 6-11, and  the  middle school week (6th-8th grade) is July  13-18.  I have the applications if you are interested in going.

Lectureship

It is hard  for  me  to  tell  you  how much I  enjoyed last week at the FHU lectureship.  The topic of Job was so timely.  I heard many wonderful lectures on many relevant topics.  I want to encourage anyone who can to attend the lectures each year.  They are a wonderful blessing.  I was also so very blessed to spend time with many wonderful friends that are ministering throughout the brotherhood.  The lectures are a time of refreshing and encouragement.

*******

I want to ask your prayers for my brother and his family and well as my mother as they are going through times of struggle.

  In Him, Craig
