Evangelism University

Evangelism University was again a wonderful experience !  There were 750 young people in attendance for this weekend (and there were at least 75 people who cancelled because of inclement weather).  Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were filled with informative Bible classes, uplifting singing, and encouraging keynote addresses.  A special thanks to the Savannah congregation for hosting this wonderful event each year.  I want to thank the Franks family for housing our young men and the Johnson family for housing our young ladies. (They have kept our young people each of the four years and they request our young people each year.)  I also want to thank our chaperones: Gayle and Wava Hall and Beth Irwin.  As I said last week, I am very proud of each young person who attended.  Their desire to learn how to better fulfill the “Great Commission” should be an encouragement to us all to do the same.

*********

I  learned much this past weekend at Evangelism University.  I learned there is a great amount of good going on throughout the brotherhood:  1) Many are involved daily teaching the lost the gospel; 2) This generation cares about the lost; 3)  There is much to be done.  This week, take the time to talk to someone about the gospel, and give them the opportunity to attend services with you.  I hope to see you and a guest here Sunday.

          In Him,

  Craig
