Jr./Sr. Banquet

     This past weekend was our Jr./Sr. Banquet and it was a huge success.  We had 38 young people attend and they were excellent.  We had 20 chaperones and I am thankful for their interest in young people.  We had a wonderful evening and safe travel.  I do want to thank Danny Davis from the Walnut Grove congregation and Doug Lyles of  the Benton congregation for driving the buses to Nashville and back.

Graduates Appreciation Night 

     On May 18  there will be an appreciation meal for the 2003  high school graduates.  This year we  have 10   graduates: Brittney Smith,   Courtney Butts, Jared Hall, Taylor Hart, Clint Moore, Adam Holt, Grant Riley, Thomas Speed,  Casey Counce, and Justin Owen.  There will be picture boards in the church office this Sunday.  Please see me in order to get one.

Youth Devotional    

     I want to thank Kyle and Joy Farris for hosting the youth devotional last Sunday evening, and Kevin and Sherry Riley for helping serve.  We had a tremendous turnout for this devotional.  There is a devotional this weekend.  It will be hosted by Chris and Kelly Smith.  I will drive the van to their home.  Please make plans to attend.  I’d love to have another wonderful group.

     We have had several visitors here for the past few weeks.  Let’s make sure that we are a visitor friendly congregation, by introducing ourselves extending a handshake and a smile (We don’t have to interrogate them) just let them know they are appreciated and welcome.  In Him, Craig
