Devotional

     There will be a youth devotional this Sunday evening at the home of Leslie and Bettie Bean.  I want encourage each 6th-12th grader to attend.  Devin Hall will be giving the devotional lesson.  I will be driving the van and we will return to the church building at 9:15 pm.   

Fruit Baskets

     Our day for the young people to deliver fruit baskets is quickly approaching.  It will be November 19 immediately following school.  I will need all of the young people 6th-12th grade, as well as several adult drivers to deliver the fruit baskets.  Each year this is a very enjoyable event, please make plans to attend.   There is a sign-up list in the lobby for adult drivers and for the young people who will be attending. 

Prayer Breakfast

     Each Wednesday morning there is a high school prayer breakfast at the Briensburg church building.  There is a period of singing, praying, and a short devotional lesson.  It begins at 7:30 am.  I want to encourage everyone who is eligible to attend.  It has been a blessing to the church for several years.  I also want to thank Gary Knuckles for preparing the food each Wednesday morning.  He does an excellent job.

     We have been blessed with summer-like weather.  The temperature has been warm, the sunshine energizing, and the leaves have been breath-taking.  Each day when you look outside take the time to take in the creation, and think about the creator.  Take time to acknowledge him and thank him for everything he has done.
