Devotional
I want to thank Gayle and Wava Hall along with Lance and Laura Cordle for hosting the youth devotional last Sunday evening. It was neat to see the young people work in groups using God’s word to show what our purpose on earth is. Each of the four groups said that a Christian’s purpose it to: Love, Serve and Praise God by following the Bible, set a good example, and to evangelize. The verses they used are Matthew 6.33, Mark 16.15-16, and Matthew 22.37. We had excellent attendance, and look forward to the next youth devotional at the home of Leslie and Bettie Bean on November 9.
Chili Supper and PAC
We had a very good turnout of young people for the annual chili supper and the trip to Paducah Athletic Club. This was an opportunity for us to enjoy one another’s company. I am grateful to all of the young people who brought visitors. I need to thank Kyle and Joy Farris, Garett Travis, Kim Copeland, and Jimmy and Marica Smith for helping chaperone the trip to Paducah Athletic Club.
Fruit Baskets
Our day for the young people to deliver fruit baskets is quickly approaching. It will be November 19 immediately following school. I will need all of the young people 6th-12th grade, as well as several adult drivers to deliver the fruit baskets. If you are an adult who can drive please let me know ASAP! Each year this is a very enjoyable event, please make plans to attend.

I look forward to us meeting this Sunday to worship God. Bring your self and someone else. See you then.
In Him,
Craig
