Attention Parents

     There will be a new class for all of the parents who have children under 6th grade.  This class will meet on Wednesday evenings in the old fellowship room.  The class will be taught by me and I will be assisted by Gayle Hall.  I want to encourage all of the parents who are eligible to attend this class.  If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

Teen Leadership Conference

     Our trip to the Teen Leadership Conference in Jackson, Tennessee was extremely profitable.  We had nine of our young people attend: Amanda Dodd, Kara Riley, Allie Darnell, Ali Smith, Leigh Leonard, Devin Hall, Jesse Treas, Chris Phillips, and Jesse Treas.  Devin was one of the speakers and Drew was one of the prayer leaders Sunday morning for worship and each did an  excellent job.  Leigh Leonard responded to the Lord’s invitation Saturday evening and requested prayer.  Let’s remember Leigh in our prayers.  I am thankful to Alison Bean for being the girls chaperone.  I am very proud of the group.  It is a very encouraging thing to see our young people excited about serving God, and attending programs that teach them how to serve God better.

Teen Week Retreat       

     The Teen Week Retreat is September 12-14 at WKYC.  The cost for the retreat is $35 and the applications are due September 5.  You can find the application on the tract rack.  Please get them in ASAP.
