- Junction, P.O. Box 323 Lebanon Junction,
Ky. 40150. Joel White, Minister. This congregation was started in
June
1976. We began support in 1981. It has grown to a membership of about 30 with
an average attendance on Sunday Morning of about 48. There has been 6 baptisms in the past
24 months. The Church building and preachers home was paid for in Oct. 98.
- Menifee County, P.O. Box 257, Frenchburg, Ky. 40322. Their minister is George Rogers. The congregation began on Jan. 1, 1993, with
6 in attendance. Our support began at that time. They have grown to a
membership of 30 with an average Sunday attendance in the upper 30's. There has been
7 baptisms in the past 23 months. Their church building and preachers home is now
paid for, a note burning ceremony was held on March 28, 99.
- Carlisle Church, 212 Sycamore, Carlisle, Ky. 40311,
Minister, Mike Hughes. The congregation was founded in 1981. Our support began
at that time. Their membership of 25 averages about 20 per Sunday.
- Central Church of Christ, P.O. Box 448, 4120 Highway 51
South. McComb, MS 39648. Bo. Charles Durr, Jr. Minister. Calvert's
support started Jan. 1, 1987.Their congregation began March, 15, 1987. Bro.. Durr,
his wife and two other people met to worship. They struggled for a few years, mostly
not having a suitable place to meet. In March of 97 we bought a 2 1/2 acre tract of
land at 4120 Highway 51 south in McComb, with a large, newly renovated brick home on it
and converted it into a nice church building. The building is heated with gas and
air conditioned with a nice baptistery. It will accommodate about 70 people and has
three classrooms, an auditorium, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a small office. They now have
a membership of 19 and an attendance of about 25 to 30 on Sunday. There has been 12
baptisms and 6 restorations in the last 28 months.
