We are delighted you have decided to worship God with us!  It is our desire to follow Christ daily, deepen our understanding of His will, and help one another on the path to Heaven.  We endeavor to make sure that we are doing "the will of the Father who is in heaven" and not the will of man.    Anything we can do to assist you on your path please let us know.

• KFC, Kids for Christ, designed for our young kids, K-5th Grade, we seek to aid their growth together in the church through trips and events throughout the year.  

• CCYG, our mission is to train teens to glorify God with their lives, to guide them to grow in knowledge and experience, to implement an example of service, and as they are in the world, they are training others to do the same.  I will help the youth to love Christ, love like Christ and live like Christ.  The Summer Youth Series is just one of many activities for our CCYG group. 

• Young Adults/CIA classes, young adults seeking to walk alongside one another through our journey of faith.  It is our mission to work to live in the world, not of the world, and to serve Christ through serving and loving others.

•  We also have a Golden Age program with trips, events and banquets throughout the year.  You will find something for everyone here in Calvert City. 

 

We encourage you to get involved.  Each of us has been blessed with talents, "each has his own gift from God, one of one kind and one of another"   (1 Corinthians 7:7).  We are urged "to stir up one another to love and good works" (Hebrews 10:24), because "what good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works" (James 2:14).  We strive to be "the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love" (Ephesians 4:16). 

 

Paul told Timothy to “… pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.”  You will find many Christians eager to share this pursuit with you here in Calvert City.
